Short presentation of Satic – Rucar, Arges County, Romania
Sătic is a village in the municipality Rucar Arges county, Muntenia, Romania. The village has about 200 inhabitants and is located on top of the Dambovita valley between the peaks of eastern Iezer-Papus and Piatra Craiului Mountain Park. Located in the basin depression homonymous basin formed by differential erosion.

The Natural Reserve Park Piatra Craiului:
The most important place to visit in this area is Piatra Craiului, which is a National Park. This Mount hosting a park nature reserve.
The dam is in concrete dam, 15 m high and 18 m long, provided with 3 openings. You can fish for trout in the lake upstream during the spring-summer and in winter can give ice on the frozen lake. The dam walk, regardless of the pension to which you are staying.
Considered unique system in Romania funnel overflow dam is a major attraction of the village Satic. Pecineagu dam is located in the depression between the mountains and Piatra Mountains Iezer-doll. The dam has a height of 107m and 267m in length from crest.
Cave of the Bears
It is situated on Dambovita Valley, Gorge Plaiului Mare. The cave entrance can be seen on the right side of the river to its mouth there is a concrete staircase. The cave is declared a nature reserve, is 370 m long, two rooms and can go in any season. The cave is not lighted.
